To whom it may concern:

I would like to recommend the Mcare Eligibility Verification Software (EVS) online look-up system, as developed by HealthSoft, to companies looking for a managed care software system. At Southwest Dental Plan/Del Sol Health Advantage we use Mcare as our tracking system for eligibility for our member base. The installation of Mcare onto our file server has allowed the entirety of our nine state-wide offices the ability to immediately verify online the eligibility of patients. 

The office-wide reaction to the Mcare Eligibility Software (EVS) online look-up system has been extremely positive.  PSR’s have commented on the numerous ways the system works for them.  Time is saved by not having to run old fashioned electronic spread sheets for verification.  Clients are now shown as eligible in the system in one day, rather than weeks with the old method.  The necessity to call the administration office for verification has been reduced by 95%.  Mcare also has multiple search options such as name, phone number, social security number, date of birth and member number.  This allows the PSR to increase the possibility of successful tracking of eligibility, thus reducing the time needed for this task by two to three hours per week.

HealthSoft has proven itself to be an efficient and reliable manager of our system.  They have helped tweak the design of our Mcare software to fit our specific needs, and have helped manage it as we have grown.  They are also readily available for technical assistance if needed.

To summarize, I would highly recommend both the Mcare software and HealthSoft to those looking for reliable, effective system management.
